EuroITV 2013 is the 11th edition of the European Interactive TV Conference series, and will be held in Como, Italy, from June 24 - 26, 2013. The conference is hosted by Politecnico di Milano, Italy and organized by an organizing committee consisting of an international team of academics and professionals, with the help of several sponsors and partners. EuroITV is the leading international conference for media and interaction related to video and television.
Introduction Researchers and practitioners from all over the world meet to discuss latest advances on media technology, human-computer interaction (HCI), systems & technology, media studies, personalization and recommender systems, intelligent user interfaces (IUI) and the content creation community. We invite original, high quality papers submissions addressing how digital technologies open up new ways of consumption and interaction with rich-media content. This annual conference (see the list of past EuroITV conferences) features academic as well as practitioner’s work on different aspects of interactive television, e.g. IPTV, mobile TV, digital content production, entertainment computing, usability and user experience evaluation, changes in technical requirements and infrastructure, future technologies. The main conference proceedings will be published by ACM. Selected papers will be short-listed for submission to special edition journals. |

The EuroITV main program (the proceedings and other archival publications) is selected based on the merits of the submissions, as established by a double‐blind peer review process.
