Inclusion and Accessibility

At TVX 2014 we are taking a positive approach towards accessibility and inclusion Here are some of the initiatives we are pursuing this year:

Of course, we are taking the usual steps to ensure accessibility as far as possible in line with good practice. We are also open to discussing reasonable adjustments or support needs, both for the reviewing process and for attending the event; please get in touch with our inclusion and accessibility chairs at inclusion@tvx2014.com

Committee Application

We conducted an open application process for positions on the program committee where ten members were appointed as a result of this process.

Mentoring of submissions from established TVX researchers in order to provide support with the most appropriate communication of your research.

Research ‘lunch dates’ between new and experienced TVX researchers.

Provision

Provision of accessibility guidelines and support for presenters at the conference, be that a podium presentation, a demo, or a poster.

Dedicated Sessions

An accessibility track with dedicated sessions on accessibility research. In addition, a workshop and Grand Challenge will be hosted in relation to this theme.
