TVX 2018\u00a0GRAND CHALLENGES<\/h2>\n

The TVX2018 Grand Challenge Competition encourages leading researchers and\u00a0innovators from both industry and academia to propose solutions to a set of technical\u00a0challenges which are highly relevant to the future of interactive television and online\u00a0video. The competition comprises challenges set by two organization:\u00a0Hanyang University and Imagine X lab.<\/p>\n

You are welcome to submit one or multiple solutions to any of challenges. Every\u00a0solution must be described in a short paper (2-4 pages) using in SIGCHI Format. We\u00a0would also encourage you to submit additional short video presentation or demo of\u00a0your solution. Hanyang Lion Challenge: Multisensory Challenge<\/h3>\n

We are looking for a new generation of multisensory TV experience using auditory,\u00a0haptic, olfactory devices and related technology\u00a0components. Your competition entry\u00a0should clearly demonstrate the added value of\u00a0multisensory experience in the TV context.\u00a0Your solution should show how TV experience\u00a0can be expanded by multisensory feedback.<\/p>\n

Imagine X Challenge:\u00a0The next channels for the self-driving car<\/h3>\n

Self-driving cars are coming very soon. Our TV-related experience can be expanding into\u00a0cars. We can imagine that the windshield can be\u00a0the TV screen of tomorrow.\u00a0In this challenge, we are looking for a new\u00a0entertainment idea in the self-driving cars. Your\u00a0competition entry needs to clearly present a new\u00a0in-car consumption, for instance a new TV channel\u00a0scenarios, UI\/UX in-car system, and so on.<\/p>\n
