TVX 2018 GRAND CHALLENGES
The TVX2018 Grand Challenge Competition encourages leading researchers and innovators from both industry and academia to propose solutions to a set of technical challenges which are highly relevant to the future of interactive television and online video. The competition comprises challenges set by two organization: Hanyang University and Imagine X lab.
You are welcome to submit one or multiple solutions to any of challenges. Every solution must be described in a short paper (2-4 pages) using in SIGCHI Format. We would also encourage you to submit additional short video presentation or demo of your solution. The winner and runners-up will be asked to prepare a 15min presentation for delivery in a dedicated session at the conference. Hanyang Lion Challenge: Multisensory Challenge
We are looking for a new generation of multisensory TV experience using auditory, haptic, olfactory devices and related technology components. Your competition entry should clearly demonstrate the added value of multisensory experience in the TV context. Your solution should show how TV experience can be expanded by multisensory feedback.

Imagine X Challenge: The next channels for the self-driving car
Self-driving cars are coming very soon. Our TV-related experience can be expanding into cars. We can imagine that the windshield can be the TV screen of tomorrow. In this challenge, we are looking for a new entertainment idea in the self-driving cars. Your competition entry needs to clearly present a new in-car consumption, for instance a new TV channel scenarios, UI/UX in-car system, and so on.

AT THE CONFERENCE
Accepted submissions will be presented as a 5 minutes-presentation in a dedicated poster session.
AFTER THE CONFERENCE
Grand Challenge will be published in the conference proceedings (FigShare), not indexed in the ACM Digital Library.
