Hilversum Media Park
The conference takes place in the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, which forms the heart of the Hilversum Media Park. The Media Park is the bustling hub of the Netherlands’ media industry, where you will find traditional media broadcasters such as RTL Nederland and the Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO working alongside innovative media agencies such as MediaMonks. No fewer than 6.000 media professionals, specialists, creatives, presenters, technicians, enthusiasts and visionaries work here.

Conference venue
The ACM TVX2017 conference will take place in the beautiful headquarters of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (NISV). The building, a well-known architectural landmark in the Netherlands, is located within the Hilversum Media Park, and hosts, in addition to the NISV research activities, the greatest collection of Dutch audio-visual material heritage. Over 750,000 hours of television, radio, music and film dating back up to 1898, make this collection one of the largest in Europe.
Accessibility
All conference areas are fully accessible by weelchair. An elevator is available to access conference areas that are on levels below or above ground.
Getting there
From Schiphol Airport or Amsterdam Central take the train to Hilversum Media Park. There are trains going there every 15 minutes. The journey will take approximately 30 – 45 minutes. Once you get at the Media Park station, you will see the colorful building of the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision immediately as it’s hard to miss.
